Dr. William Diefenbach Joins the Ranks of Leading Professionals
Dr. William Diefenbach is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons


ERIE, PA, June 17, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. William Diefenbach, Neurosurgeon for the Saint Vincent Health System, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in neurosurgery.

An expert in brain tumors and complex spine surgery, Dr. Diefenbach has 30 years of professional experience. At the Saint Vincent Health System, he evaluates, treats and educates patients. Dr. Diefenbach works with patients afflicted with neurological disorders including cerebrovascular diseases, cervical spine disorders, head and neck disorders, lumbar degenerative disc disease and tumors. He also gained essential healthcare management experience throughout his career, as he formerly served as the Director of Neurosurgery and Chairman of Surgery at Saint Vincent Medical Center.

In 1985, Dr. Diefenbach completed a residency in Neurosurgery at the New York-Presbyterian Hospital. He attended the College of Physicians and Surgeons at Columbia University. Dr. Diefenbach is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the American Medical Association, Congress of Neurological Surgeons and the American Association of Neurological Surgeons. In the future, he hopes to mentor young medical professionals.
