Haddonfield, NJ, June 28, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Barbara Ann Visconti, MSN, RN, LNHA, President of A+ Organizational LTC Consultants and an adjunct faculty member at Wilmington University, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in long term care nursing and regulatory compliance and univeristy adult education.

Barbara Ann Visconti has dedicated the past 16 years to improving the field of healthcare by inspecting facilities to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations (and now independently through A+ Organizational LTC Consultants) and teaching a highly-respected undergraduate nursing program. "At Wilmington University, I prepare nursing students to function as exemplary caregivers by promoting all aspects of the division philosophy, which include client, environment, health, nursing, care-giver-healer, nurse-leader, teacher, and nurse education," Ms. Visconti explained in an interview with Cambridge Who's Who. Ms. Visconti is also pursuing a Doctor of Education, Organizational Leadership at the university and hopes this will be a specialty marker of success to the A+ Organizational LTC Consultants company.

She holds a Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Nursing Leadership and Education from Wilmington University, School of Nursing, Wilmington, DE (2007), a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from Widener University, School of Nursing, Chester, PA (1997), and an Associate of Science in Nursing from the Helene Fuld School of Nursing, NJ (1993). She holds New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) licensure, is licensed in the states of New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Deleware, is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) in NJ, and is a Certified Director of Nursing (CDONA/LTC).

A member of Omicron Gamma Chapter, Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society since 2007, Ms. Visconti was inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society in 1997. She is affiliated with many prestigious associations including the New Jersey Chapter of the Directors of Nursing Association (for which she previously served as an Executive Board Member), the American Nurses Association, and the American Association of Nurse Executives. She is a former member of the Camden County and Salem Nursing Advisory Committee. She is also a Notary Public for Camden County, NJ.
